Renewable Energy
Renewable energy, also called green energy, is that type of energy coming from natural sources such as sunlight, wind, water, tides or plants. These energy sources can be renewed naturally and therefore renewable energy has a much smaller impact on the environment.

Green energy types:
- Solar energy (produced by the sun) is the most common type of renewable energy. Photovoltaic solar panels capture the sun's energy and transform it into electricity.
- Wind energy (produced by the wind) is a type of energy often found in regions with strong winds. The force of the wind sets in motion the turbines that produce energy.
- Geothermal energy (produced by geothermal water). Hot water and steam, captured in areas of volcanic and tectonic activity, are used to heat homes and generate electricity.
- Bioenergy (product of biomass) is less known and used than other types of renewable energies. Vegetation residues, wood residues, sawdust or even crops with a special destination for biomass are much less polluting than traditional fuels.
